On Mid-Mornings with Tracey Lange, Wednesday = Women Crush!

Calling all ballerina enthusiasts - this is the workout you didn't know you needed!

This weeks #WomenCrushWednesday is Nicola Lubbe from Central Dance Studio who talks to Tracey about the benefits of adult ballet (yes, ballet is for adults, not just kids).

Listen below.

Nicola Lubbe is a professional dancer who danced for Cape Town City Ballet, competed internationally and now teaches adult ballet, like this.

At the Central Dance Studio, adult dance classes are offered to adults 20-60 years old.

Lubbe says, adult ballet classes are not just for professional dancers but for everyone with a passion for a workout that's "not the norm".

As you tip toe your way to a stronger you, you're promised a great vibe and a close community of friendship (if you want it).

Never dipped your toes in a pointed ballet direction before?

Lubbe says that's okay, "you can come knowing nothing".

Adult ballet classes are available daily for various levels. There's also a course which includes four lessons and focuses on learning the basics from scratch before you tackle an adult ballet class.

And nooooo - you don't have to dress like a ballerina, active wear with some socks are all you need to start.

Check them out on social media or over here.

From a gal who's visited Lubbe's studio before for a barre class - I highly recommend this one if you want to work out with a vibe and feel all the good vibes flow even well after your session.
