Kfm 94.5 presenter Liezel van der Westhuizen successfully completed the NSRI Robben Island Crossing, swimming an incredible 7.5km from Robben Island to Blouberg to raise money for charity.
According to the Givengain site, she has already raised R3,000 for the charity.
Van Der Westhuizen completed the 7.5km of non-stop swimming on Thursday, with only a brief pause in the water to have a drink.
The first swimmers in were even lucky enough to have dolphins swimming along with them as they ended off the race.
Thirty-three NSRI volunteers also participated in the race to raise funds and every one of them completed the incredible swim.
