Bills and chores aside, moving out of your parents home is one of the most freeing experiences. No more curfews and finally you decide when and how to do the dishes or clean your bedroom.

But what happens when for whatever reason, you have to go back home?

EB Inglis says that he briefly moved in with his parents again before moving into his new family home. The biggest adjustment was when he would be out late, for work or for fun, and when he'd get back home his parents would be up waiting for him.

Kfm listeners shared their similar experiences, including one listener who says when she and her husband lived with her parents again, they suddenly had to adhere to a 10pm curfew and at bedtime, her father would come to their bedroom reminding them to switch off the lights.
