South Korea's supergroup BTS made history with their latest English language track Butter.

The band's new song — released on 21 May — broke its own record for the most YouTube views in the space of 24 hours, reaching a total of 113 million plays.

That's roughly 12 million more than what they got for their previous song Dynamite.

Looking at Spotify, Butter racked in over 11 million global streams in just one day —breaking Justin Bieber and Ed Sheeran’s record for their 2019 collab ‘I Don’t Care’.

The track also debuted at Number 1 on the Billboard Hot 100 and remained at the top spot for another week meaning that BTS has now had 4 chart-toppers on the Hot 100.
