Every relationship has its milestones, your first kiss, your first time travelling together and the first time you fart in front of each other.

Maybe it's done deliberately, or you accidentally let one rip and just want to crawl in a hole and die.

A 2016 study by Mic shows that 51% of people felt comfortable farting in front of their significant other less than 6 months into the relationship.

While 25.2% of respondents waited between six to 12 months to break the farting barrier.
