Every Wednesday on her mid-morning show, Tracey Lange interviews her Woman Crush Wednesday #WCW.

This week, Tracey chats to Tracy Manus about her 'Garden of Blessings' community initiative.

Manus started her gardening project to help feed people affected by lockdown in her community. She started with feeding 30-40 people and with donations, it's grown to about 100.

I started a little charity where I get to feed the needy people in my community. Those who have been affected by lockdown, the kids who had to forgo many many meals because their parents somehow ended up without employment.

Apart from selling seed packets, I've been handing packets of seeds to the neighbours and I'm trying to get them to do some gardening and to just be self-reliant.

'Garden of Blessings' is based in Ravensmead with plans to expand to more communities. Manus adds that she finds motivation through her community.

Just the look on their faces of these kids... they have no entertainment. They often end up standing on the corner of streets, they start smoking at an early age, they get affected by alcohol... just to see the absolute joy I bring into their lives with something small, a meal, a second-hand toy... so it's the little things that I actually get to see where I make a difference in their lives.
