Kfm and Dineplan are giving you a chance to keep your favourite local spots open after the lockdown.

Just as your favourite local spot’s been there for you when you needed them, they need you now more than ever!

The Kind Kitchen specializes in Vegan Comfort Food. Before lockdown, the business employed up to 20 people between their Woodstock and Constantia locations.

Now they’re at 1/4 only at Woodstock and trying to figure out the way forward.

Tracey Lange speaks to Jason McNamara, Founder of The Kind Kitchen to find out how you can support them.

It's like everyone else there, my colleagues in the industry, we've been hit quite hard with this... no business has been exempt from it..

- Jason McNamara, Founder of The Kind Kitchen

...as soon as we were allowed to go back and operate a little bit more, we did. Because we started off as a deli, we were actually able to do some home deliveries with veg boxes and some of the products we make...

- Jason McNamara, Founder of The Kind Kitchen

So we had to start with a small amount of staff, just myself and one of my head cooks... now there's four of us in the kitchen. We had to obviously go through a rigorous screening process first.

- Jason McNamara, Founder of The Kind Kitchen

It's been quite a story to actually get in touch with and actually make a reality now, making food for people again.
