  • This Promotional Competition (“Competition”) is organised by Coca-Cola Africa (Proprietary) Limited, and its agencies and Primedia (Pty) Ltd (collectively referred to as the “Promoter”).
  • The Competition is open to participants who are permanent residents and citizens of South Africa, over the age of 18 (eighteen) years, in possession of a valid South African Identity Document and a valid South African passport. (the “Participant/s/Entrant/s”).
  • The Promoter will not be held liable for entries not received for any reason whatsoever, and will not be responsible for network connectivity or hardware issues experienced while participating on-air.
  • A Participant will not be able to win this Competition if they have won a prize on KFM 94.5 within the past 90 days, whether on-air, online or via any of the station's social platforms.
  • Participants may not enter this Competition or qualify to be a winner if they have won a competition promoted by the Promoters within the past 6 (six) months, or if they are declared a winner in the Coca-Cola® FIFA World Cup™ Russia 2018 promotional competition.
  • If a winner chosen does not comply for whatever reason, their entry will be disqualified, and a new winner will be drawn.
  • If a winner cannot be successfully contacted, is ineligible to accept the prize, or contravenes the terms and conditions of this competition or of the Promoter, the prize will be forfeited.
  • The Promoter reserves the right to cancel or amend the competition and these terms and conditions without notice. Any changes to the competition will be notified to participants as soon as possible by the promoter.
  • Any minor, employee, director, member, partner, agent or consultant of or any person, directly or indirectly, who controls or is controlled by the Promoter and/or immediate family members of any employee, director, member, partner, agent or consultant of or person, indirectly or directly, in control or controlled by the Promoter, its advertising agencies, advisers, dealers, suppliers and Bottlers of beverages identified by the trademarks owned by or licensed to The Coca-Cola Company, its affiliates and/or associated companies, is disqualified from participating in this Competition. (“Disqualified Participants”).
  • Any Minor travelling overseas as a Travel Partner to the Winner of the Prize, will be required to be accompanied on the Prize by Winner their legal guardian or parent. In order to redeem the Prize, the parent or legal guardian will be required to familiarize themselves and comply with the Immigration Regulations of 2014 (the “Regulations”). In terms of the Regulations, a parent or legal guardian travelling outside the borders of South Africa with a Minor, must meet certain requirements in order to travel internationally. It is the responsibility of the parent and/or legal guardian to view and thereby acknowledge and understand the requirements set in the Regulations.   • There will be two Grand Prize draws:
    • 11.1 All entries will be reviewed by a panel of KFM judges who will short-list the valid entries. The judging panel will then conduct an audited random draw to select the winners. On 11 May we will run a special 7am to 7pm competition where listeners can enter to win the bonus trip. The winner will be drawn on 12 May at 9am and announced on Monday Morning (14 May) on KFM Breakfast with Darren, Sherlin and Sibs between 6 and 9am through a live on-air moment. The winner will be specifically drawn from the 7am to 7pm entry pool.
    • 11.2 We will also draw the second grand prize winner on 14 May 2018, between 9am and midday until a valid and verified winner is chosen. The winner will be announced on 15 May during KFM Breakfast with Darren, Sherlin and Sibs through a live on-air moment. Instagram accounts should not be on private mode, if they are the entry will be deemed null and void. If a winner has been selected, but has not registered online, their entry will be deemed null and void.
  • By entering the Competition, all Participants and the Winner and their Travel Partner, agree to be bound by these rules which will be interpreted by the Promoter or the Promoter’s nominated administrator, whose decision regarding any dispute will be final and binding and no correspondence shall be entered into regarding the decision. The Promoter reserves the right to amend, modify, change, postpone, suspend or cancel this Competition and any prizes, or any aspect thereof, without notice at any time, for any reason that the Promoter reasonably deems necessary.
  • The Competition commences on 8 May and ends on 13 May at midnight both days inclusive (the “Duration”).
  • Prize (“Prize”) includes the following:
    • 1 (one) double trip to the FIFA World Cup, Russia 2018, to watch any 2 (two) Group Stage Matches only (“Prize”), for you and 1 (one) travel partner (“Travel Partner”), worth an estimated value of R80 000 (eighty thousand rand).
  • The Prize Winner and their Travel Partner must be available to travel together to the Prize between 16th June 2018 and 30 June 2018 (“Travel Dates”). Should the Winner be unavailable to take up the Prize on the Travel Dates, provided and determined by Promoters, the Winner and their Travel Partner will be deemed to have forfeited the Prize. In such event the Prize will revert back to the Promoter.
  • Should the Winner of the Prize wish to make any changes in any way whatsoever, to the Prize, other than what will be arranged by the Promoter, including Travel Dates and the number of Travel Partners, such costs, charges, expenses or any such adaptations or variations to the Prize, will be on the Winner’s own account.
  • To stand a chance of winning the Prize,Participants must purchase any 3 (three) Coca-Cola variants – Original, Life, Light or Zero product pack with the numbers 9 and 4 and 5 on the pack (“Participating Products”).
    • 17.1 Participants must register on kfm.co.za
    • 17.2 Participants must take a creative picture with their Participating Products displayed as “9-4 -5”.
    • 17.3 Participants must upload their pictures on Instagram and Facebook, using #My945Coke #Ready #CocaColaZA.
    • 17.4 (hereinafter referred to as an “ Entry”).

    • 18.3 If a winner has been selected, but has not registered online, their entry will be deemed null and void.
  • Participants may enter the Competition subject to the following:
    • 19.1 No automated entries will be allowed and all entries must be made by a natural person manually on Facebook and Instagram.
    • 19.2 If any entry was made in a manner which in the Promoter’s discretion provides the participant with an unfair advantage over other entrants, such a Participant will be disqualified from this and all future competitions run by the Promoter.
  • Participants may enter this Competition as many times as they like provided they complete the entry mechanics set out above, each time.
  • The Competition is in no way sponsored, endorsed or administrated by, or associated with Facebook or Instagram. Participants provide their information to the Promoters and not to Facebook or Instagram however the Participants are required to take note of the following:
    • 21.1 As this Competition requires Participants to comment/post anything in relation to the relevant Facebook and Instagram social platforms, Participants’ comments/posts must be original and written by them. For the purposes of these Rules, “comment/post” includes but is not limited to, any written material or visual or audio material such as an image, a photograph, a sound or visual clip. Participants may not use someone else’s post or work as their post. Participants may not comment/post material that is derogatory or harmful to the Promoter or the social platforms.
    • 21.2 Participants may not misuse the social media platforms, or the Coca-Cola brand or Competition in any way. This includes posting content for commercial purposes or distributing spam or malicious code or using the site to collect the personal data or content of other users or direct visitors to other sites or pages.
    • 21.3 Posts must not contain any content that is normally prohibited on the relevant social platforms such as explicit or offensive content.
    • 21.4 The Promoter has the absolute discretion to decide if Participants actions constitute any of the actions prohibited in terms of these Rules and to end their participation in the competition immediately and take appropriate legal action. The Promoter may also immediately remove any posts that they reasonably believe constitute any prohibited content without notice to the Participant.
    • 21.5 Participants must comply with the terms & conditions and privacy policies of the social media platforms.
    • 21.6 The Promoter is not responsible for the social media platforms. The Promoter cannot control how they operate, when or if they are available, or what content they carry. Even though the Promoter runs the Competition on the site, the Promoter does not endorse the third party, its site, its products, or services or any content on the site. Participants use the site at their own risk. Participants must take all necessary measures to protect themselves and any minors, from risks, such as viruses and other destructive code.
    • 21.7 Participants must obtain at their own expense all equipment and services that are necessary to gain access to the social media platforms to take part in this Competition.
    • 21.8 The Promoter can put in place such technical or other remedies it considers appropriate to prevent abuse, or to protect any sites or our systems or other users.
    • 21.9 If any Participant does not comply with these Rules, their posts can be deleted and they will not be allowed to access the site or take part in the Competition.
    • 21.10 By posting any content, experiences, images on any social media platform, in relation to this Competition and its associated promotional activities, Participants consent and give the Promoter a world-wide, royalty free and non-exclusive license, to reproduce, modify, adapt and publish any content posted and/or submitted by a Participant on a social media platform, for the purposes of promoting the products and services of the Promotor.
    • 21.11 The Competition is in no way sponsored, endorsed or administrated by, or associated with Facebook or Instagram, or any other social media platform. Participants provide their information to the Promoters and not to Facebook or Instagram, or any other social media platform.
  • Travelling abroad:
    • 22.1 The following rules apply for travelling abroad:
      • 22.1.1 Possible Winners and their Travel Partner stand a chance of spending up to 5 (five) days and 4 (four) nights in Russia.
      • 22.1.2 In order to travel abroad, possible Winners may be required to submit copies of their and their Travel Partner’s valid passports (collectively “the Travelers”), after being declared a winner and after successfully completing the Verification Process. Should any Traveler not be in possession of a valid passport, possible Winner and their Travel Partner will be deemed to have forfeited their chosen Prize. The Prize will revert back to the Promoter and a substitute Winner will be drawn.
      • 22.1.3 The possible Winner and their Travel Partner’s passports must be valid for at least 6 (six) months from the stipulated date of return from the Prize, and must have 3 (three) blank/unstamped pages in the passport.
      • 22.1.4 Clear passport copies must be emailed to the Promoter, to an e-mail address only provided by the Promoter, reflecting the photograph, name, passport number, date of issue and expiry date of the travelers. Blurred or obscured copies will result in disqualification.
    • 22.2 The Winner and their Travel Partner will be required to sign the Promoter’s Prize Winner and indemnity forms, which forms need to be returned fully completed and signed, to the Promoter within 24 (twenty-four) hours. Should the Winner and/or Travel Partner refuse or fail to do so for any reason whatsoever, the Winner will be deemed to have forfeited the Prize. In such event the Prize will revert back to the Promoter and a substitute winner will be drawn.
    • 22.3 Travel, hotel reservations and events/excursions are subject to availability and may not be available on certain dates. Travel Dates may be varied and any or all amendments to Travel Dates will be at the Promoter’s discretion.
    • 22.4 The Prize includes travel costs to and from Russia, including economy flight costs, double room sharing hotel accommodation, hotel meals offered, and selected excursions, as determined by the Promoter.
    • 22.5 No correspondence will be entered into as to the Promoter’s choice of airline, ticket class, hotel accommodation, all of which, including the length of stay, is at the Promoter’s discretion.
    • 22.6 The Promoter will not be responsible for any other expenses, which the Winner and their Travel Partner may incur as a result of their acceptance and/or use of the Prize whether foreseen or not.
    • 22.7 Ancillary costs, including but not limited to, additional transport, additional meals outside of those paid by the Promoter, personal and incidental expenses, government taxes, management fees or other fees applicable are not the responsibility of the Promoter.
    • 22.8 The Promoter will cover the Winner and Travel Partner’ basic travel insurance, the level of cover will be determined at the Promoter’s sole discretion. In the event that the Winner and/or Travel Partner wish to increase the level of insurance cover, this increase in cover will be at the Winner and/or Travel Partner’ sole cost and expense.
    • 22.9 The Promoter shall not be responsible for any changes, substitution, withdrawal, cancellation or postponement of any part of the itinerary beyond its reasonable control. The Promoter is not obliged to award any other prizes in lieu if any such event or aspect of the trip is cancelled, postponed, substituted, withdrawn, changed or unavailable.
    • 22.10 The Winners and their Travel Partner are obliged to behave responsibly at all times and comply with the Competition rules and all reasonable requests of the Promoter and its agents. In the event that the prize Winner and/or Travel Partner acts in any manner that brings The Coca-Cola Company, the Promoter, its affiliates and/or associated companies’ name into disrepute at any time (including but not limited to display or publicize any political slogans, child pornography, or use homophobic language, images of a lewd or explicitly sexual nature, images containing logos of competitors and overt brand sponsorship or anything else deemed to be ambush marketing, content which is defamatory, obscene, illegal, vulgar, offensive or otherwise unsuitable or infringes others’ rights), the Promoter or its agent shall, at its sole discretion and without any form of compensation to the Winner and their Travel Partner, and without limitation to any other claim the Promoter may have under law; arrange for the Winner and their Travel Partner return to the Provinces of Residence in South Africa.
    • 22.11 If the Promoter is unable to reach any Prize Winner after 3 (three) days from the date of being declared a Winner, or if a Winner is a Minor who did not obtain their parent or legal guardian’s consent, or if a Prize Winner fails the verification process after their Entry is drawn for whatsoever reason, such person will be disqualified and a draw for a replacement Entry and Winner will take place.
  • The Competition Prize are neither transferable nor redeemable for cash and the Promoter is not liable for any defect in the Prize. The Promoter reserve the right to substitute Prize with any other prize of comparable commercial value.
  • In addition to any other the verification requirements set out in these Rules, the Promoter may require the Prize Winner and their travel Partner to complete and submit an information disclosure agreement and indemnification, as well as supply a copy of their valid Identity Document within 24 (twenty-four) hours of being confirmed a Winner, to enable the Promoter to ensure compliance with these rules and the Consumer Protection Act 68 of 2008. Should any Winner and/or their Travel Partner refuse or be unable to comply with this rule for any reason, such Winner will be deemed to have rejected the Prize and it shall revert back to the Promoter.
  • The Promoter may require the Prize Winner and/or their Travel Partner to be identified and photographed and the photographs published in printed media, or to appear on radio and television, when accepting their Prize and/or after having received their Prize. The Winner and/or their Travel Partner will be given the opportunity to decline to the publication of their images and to participate in the Promoters’ marketing material in so far as it relates to the Competition.
  • Prize images on the Point of Sale promotional material are used to represent the prizes for illustration purposes only, and might differ from the actual prizes awarded.
  • Entries that are unclear, illegible, are submitted via an incorrect entry mechanism or contain errors or from Disqualified Persons will be declared invalid.
  • All Participants and the Winner, as the case may be, indemnify the Promoter, their advertising agencies, advisers, nominated agents, suppliers and Bottlers of beverages identified by the trademarks owned by or licensed to The Coca-Cola Company, its affiliates and/or associated companies against any and all claims of any nature whatsoever arising out of and/or from their participation in any way howsoever in this competition including, as a result of any act or omission, whether as a result of negligence, misrepresentation, misconduct or otherwise on the part of the Promoters and/or use of the Prize.
  • By entering the Competition, the Participants agree that The Coca-Cola Company and its affiliates (including the Promoter, subsidiaries, bottlers, and joint ventures) may contact the Participant via email and through social media platforms to deliver marketing communications regarding their products and promotional activities. The Promoter may also use the personal data collected from the Participant as described in the Privacy Policy accessible at www.coca-cola.co.za and that such use may include transfers to the Promoter’s affiliates and third party service providers in any country.
  • By entering the Competition, the Participants agree that The Coca-Cola Company and its affiliates (including the Promoter, agencies, subsidiaries, Bottlers, and joint ventures) may contact the Participants via email and through social media platforms to deliver marketing communications regarding their products and promotional activities, provided that the Participants are given the opportunity to opt-out of receiving marketing communication at any time via the appropriate opt-out mechanisms provided by the Promoter for such purpose.
  • Should any dispute arise in relation to the interpretation of the Competition rules, the Promoter’s decision shall be final and no correspondence shall be entered into.
