Now, most of us have read the story 'The Shoemaker and the Elves' and this animated feature explores the little helpers a little bit more. It's called the Elfkins: Baking a difference and it follows the story of Elfie who tries to find a human whose going to teach her a craft then, in turn, help them so that she can become a true Elfkin. Now, she happens to stumble upon a baker who is in danger of losing his home and bakery and, that's where Elfie and her friend step in to bake a difference.

LOVE, WEDDINGS AND OTHER DISASTERS

Now, what would Christmas be without a good old fashioned rom-com? Love, weddings and other disasters have plenty of rom and even more com and, it features a star-studded cast with Diane Keaton, Jeremy Irons, Maggie Grace and former Vines star, Andrew Bachelor aka King Bach. It centres around the love and misfortunes of three couples that's made up of a pedantic caterer, a blind woman, an inexperienced wedding planner and a tour bus guide.

THE NEST

And finally, my pick of the week – the psychological drama called The Nest, that stars Jude Law and Carrie Coon. Jude Law plays Rory, an English broker and entrepreneur that convinces his American wife played by Coon, and their kids to move into an English manor and, this is where things start to unravel. According to critics, Jude Law and Carrie Coon give some of the best performances to date and that's no surprise as it was the official selection at this year's Sundance Film Festival.
