We know the app SweepSouth, an on-demand cleaning service, they’ve now launched SweepSouth Connect to allow individuals, freelancers and small businesses across all trades and professions to register, promote their services and connect with an enormous customer base.

SweepSouth Co-Founder Aisha Pandor joined Tracey Lange to chat more about the initiative.

Listen to the full interview in the audio clip below.

We started building SweepSouth Connect towards the end of last year, our thinking was that we wanted to have a range of services other than cleaning... things like handymen, electricians, carpet cleaners... we branched out into a couple more services... to try and provide this sort of on-demand artisan type services to accompany the cleaning.

We've also had some interesting - and this is especially relevant during lockdown - some interesting services like people who do web development, we had a yoga instructor... it really is just a way for people who market their own businesses.

If you'd like to market your services, you can get started by downloading the SweepSouth Connect app in the Google Play or Apple App stores.
