Mi Casa are celebrating a decade together! And what a decade it has been as the band become one of South Africa’s most exciting and consistent success stories.
Over the past 10 years, the trio of J’Something, Dr Duda and Mo-T have released 5 albums as Mi Casa, stacked up countless awards, brought down the house at may gigs and concerts (including Huawei KDay) and have recently signed an international record deal with Afroforce1 Records and Universal Music Group.
Now they’re back with a new album!
Called ‘We Made It’, the album is a testament to a decade of raw pushing that saw this self-made success story emerge once again on top. It dropped on Friday, 3 July 2020, along with a new single – the follow-up to ‘Church Bells’, called ‘Eve’.
On Saturday, 4 July 2020, Carl Wastie called up Mi Casa’s frontman, J’Something, to congratulate him on the new album and to find out a little more about it, as well as their 10 years together as a group.
Carl then called up Dr Duda and Mo-T, added them to the discussion, and then decided to see just how well the band knew each other, asking them some questions that only the truest of true friends know the answers to.
