WITH ALL THE NEGATIVITY FLYING AROUND, MONDAY MOTIVATION IS A LITTLE SOMETHING TO RECALIBRATE AND REFOCUS YOUR MIND FOR THE WEEK AHEAD.

This week's motivational clip is from British writer and philosopher, Alan Watts. Watts was one of the first to interpret Eastern wisdom for a Western audience.

"Although I enjoy good food, I don't even own a TV. It's a very simple life, but I've got enough, and enough is as good as a feast. You see, a lot of people don't feel happy unless they have another thing beyond money, called status. And status to a very large extent in our economy exists in conspicuous consumption; in having this thing, and that thing and the other thing, and having a swimming pool, a certain kind of clothes, a certain kind of house, and so on and so on and so on."
