At just 18, pop sensation Bille Eilish is set to be the youngest artist in history to take on the theme song for a James Bond film.
Eilish follows in the footsteps of top stars like Adele, Madonna and Paul McCartney.
The multi-platinum selling and GRAMMY® Award-nominated star has written the title song for No Time To Die along with her elder brother; fellow multi GRAMMY® Award-nominated FINNEAS.
In a statement, Eilish said, “It feels crazy to be a part of this in every way. To be able to score the theme song to a film that is part of such a legendary series is a huge honor. James Bond is the coolest film franchise ever to exist. I’m still in shock”.
FINNEAS adds, “Writing the theme song for a Bond film is something we’ve been dreaming about doing our entire lives. There is no more iconic pairing of music and cinema than the likes of Goldfinger and Live And Let Die. We feel so so lucky to play a small role in such a legendary franchise, long live 007.”
The news was shared on the official @007 Twitter account this Tuesday.
No Time To Die is in theatres globally from 2 April 2020. In the 25th instalment, Bond has left active service and is enjoying a tranquil life in Jamaica. His peace is short-lived when his old friend Felix Leiter from the CIA turns up asking for help.
