Michael Jackson's socks are up for auction and are expected to fetch between $1,000,000 - $2,000,000.

The late King of Pop wore the custom made crystal socks the first time he showed off his famous moonwalk during a performance of 'Billie Jean' in 1983 TV special 'Motown 25: Yesterday, Today, Forever'.

Michael gifted the socks to his manager Frank DiLeo during the 1984 Victory Tour and wrote and signed a letter to Frank to accompany them.

Presented in a plexi display box, the socks come with a letter attesting that Michael wore the socks when he did his moonwalk as well as an email confirming their authenticity.

Auction site Gottahaverockandroll.com estimates the pair will go for upwards of $2 million.
