Speaking to Ray White, the pioneer of Latin American jazz fusion, guitarist Carlos Santana, says their music through the years has become brighter and higher.

The Woodstock Music and Art Fair back in the 1960s proved that human beings can transcend religion and politics, that people are capable of manifesting unity and harmony, he says.

Santana says their music promotes peace and love from 'a force that is as powerful as a tornado or volcano'. He says the South African audience can expect pure energy from their performances.

I am going to bring energy to South Africa. Most bands brings reoccupation of nostalgia, we play the same song in different ways. That can make your hair stand up, make you cry and laugh at the same time.
