According to Nurseryman at Fridhem Farms, Mark Dawson, Capetonians should consider having plants that can survive without water in their gardens.

This follows an announcement by the City of Cape Town that it is moving towards implementing level 4 water
restrictions in the coming weeks.

We have to keep on gardening as plants are critical to us people and the bees, so we can't give up on it.

Dawson also advised on the use of suitable grey water to water plants as a way to keeping a green garden in the midst of drought.
