If you wanted to have a great, fun-filled time this past weekend, you were definitely spoiled for choice.
We started on Saturday morning at the Western Cape's largest adventure and outdoor event, the Getaway Show at Lourensford Wine Estate.
There was live music, delicious food, wine and craft beer, specials on camping, outdoor and travel gear as well as amazing holiday prizes up for grabs!
If you live in the Southern Suburbs, and you thought that Somerset West is a little bit too far for you (it isn't, trust us), the Harfield Village Carnival was just around the corner.
2nd Avenue was filled up with handmade crafts, food and delicious food and home-grown musicians:
We ended the weekend in Mitchell's Plain for Open Streets!
Tim Thabethe broadcasted live from Merrydale Avenue, which was closed to traffic for the day. This meant that people from all over the Cape could ride, walk eat, draw and play on the street:
(You can listen to Tim Thabethe LIVE, weekdays from 7pm to 10pm)
